Loved this book. I’d forgotten so much about the pandemic. Each chapter introduces you to different characters and their lives. The final chapter was a clever surprise. I’m in my 60’s and I think this book would appeal to all generations. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

The Gift of Time follows six characters in five countries all desperate for the gift of time but life is never straight forward as they are hit by a pandemic.
This little book is full of emotion and filled with so many secrets which you as a reader quickly become consumed by each story. It is not until the end that the connections are sensitively revealed.

From reading the blurb I immediately loved the premise of this book, and the story definitely did not disappoint. I was engrossed in the character’s lives, and Julie’s style of writing is beautiful. Such a page turner – 100% recommend for anyone who loves deep character descriptions and connections, is looking for a book with a new concept and one that you can’t put down. The ending was fantastic and I can’t wait for the next one!

I blazed through Slipped on a rainy Saturday. I enjoyed the back stories of the characters. Although a fantasy, it made clear how people do react to something unexplained and different from the world they know. Some heart breaking and some give you a bit of faith in humanity. My only complaint is that I’ll have to wait for more .
